- Business details you enter when setting up your account (trade type, service area, custom messaging)

- Log data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time and date of visits
- Device information: device type, operating system
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 6)
Information from your customers
When your customers interact with CallCatch's call capture or SMS system on your behalf, we collect their phone numbers and the content of their text conversations. This data is processed to provide the service and is associated with your business account.
2. How we use your information
- To provide, operate, and maintain our services
- To process transactions and send related information (confirmations, invoices, receipts)
- To send automated SMS messages on your behalf to your customers as part of the call capture service
- To send you service-related communications (account updates, support responses, security alerts)
- To analyze usage patterns and improve our product

We do not sell your personal information or your customers' information to third parties for marketing purposes.
3. How we share your information
We may share your information with:
- Service providers: Third-party vendors who assist us in operating our platform, including telephony providers (for SMS and call routing), payment processors, email delivery services (SendGrid), and cloud infrastructure providers. These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and may only use your data to perform services on our behalf.
- Legal compliance: When required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of CallCatch, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
4. Data retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Call and SMS interaction logs are retained for up to 12 months, after which they are automatically deleted. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at support@callcatchhq.com.
5. Data security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and secure data storage. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies to maintain your login session and ensure the service functions correctly. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so may affect your ability to use certain features of our service.
